Mederos Marketing Group
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
Mederos Marketing Group (“MMG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit mederosmarketinggroup.com, interact with our advertisements, submit an inquiry, schedule a consultation, communicate with our team, or use our services.
Mederos Marketing Group provides branding, website services, content creation, social media management, digital advertising, and related marketing services to businesses throughout the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, and other markets we serve.
We use personal information for business communications and future marketing, including promotional emails, advertising campaigns, retargeting, and audience matching, subject to applicable law, required permissions, and your privacy choices.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The information we collect depends on how you interact with our business.
Contact and business information. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, business name, job title, website, general location, and preferred method of communication.
Inquiry and consultation information. This includes information you provide about your business, marketing goals, services of interest, budget, project requirements, appointment preferences, and other details submitted through forms, messages, or consultations.
Client and transaction information. If you engage our services, we may collect billing contact information, agreement details, service history, invoice records, payment status, and information needed to manage your account.
Website and device information. Depending on the tools enabled and your privacy settings, our website and service providers may receive your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring website, pages visited, approximate location, and interactions with website features.
Advertising and communication activity. We may receive information about advertisements you interact with, lead forms you submit, links you click, and actions associated with a campaign. Where enabled, email measurement tools may also provide information about message delivery, opens, and clicks.
Preferences and consent records. This includes your marketing preferences, subscription status, consent selections, and requests to unsubscribe or exercise privacy rights.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, medical records, financial account credentials, or other sensitive personal information through our general inquiry forms.
2. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We collect information directly from you when you complete a website or advertising form, book a strategy session, request a proposal, subscribe to communications, become a client, or contact us.
We also receive information through platforms you use to interact with MMG, including social media platforms, advertising lead forms, scheduling services, and communication providers.
Our strategy-session booking process uses Calendly. Information submitted through Calendly is processed in connection with scheduling and managing your appointment, and Calendly’s own data practices are described in its Privacy Notice.
Website information may also be collected through cookies, tracking technologies, and server records, as described below.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use personal information for purposes connected to our business, including to:
- Respond to questions, inquiries, and requests for information.
- Schedule consultations, appointments, and follow-up conversations.
- Prepare proposals and recommend services relevant to your business.
- Provide services and manage client relationships.
- Administer agreements, invoices, payments, and business records.
- Maintain contact records and communication preferences.
- Improve our website, content, services, and customer experience.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate marketing and advertising.
- Detect misuse, address security concerns, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where a particular activity requires consent, we obtain that consent before carrying out the activity. This Privacy Policy explains our practices; it does not replace a separate consent request when one is required.
4. FUTURE ADVERTISING, RETARGETING & AUDIENCE MATCHING
We use information about your inquiries, service interests, and interactions with MMG to develop and deliver future marketing for our business.
These activities may include:
- Sending information about our services, packages, promotions, events, and educational content.
- Following up with people who have expressed interest in working with MMG.
- Showing MMG advertisements to previous website visitors or people who have interacted with our content.
- Creating customer audiences and finding audiences with similar interests or characteristics, where permitted.
- Measuring whether advertisements lead to inquiries, appointments, or other actions.
- Adjusting advertising frequency and excluding people from campaigns when appropriate.
Where permitted, we may disclose contact information, such as email addresses or telephone numbers, and online identifiers or conversion activity to advertising platforms, including Google and Meta, for audience matching, advertising delivery, and campaign measurement.
Audience matching may involve converting contact information into hashed identifiers before matching it with platform accounts. Hashing does not necessarily make information anonymous.
Certain advertising disclosures may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws. Those terms can apply more broadly than an ordinary sale of a customer list.
You may request that MMG stop using your information for targeted advertising by emailing danny@mederosmarketinggroup.com. You may use “Advertising Opt-Out” as the subject line, although a specific subject line is not required.
5. COOKIES, ANALYTICS & ADVERTISING TECHNOLOGIES
Our website and marketing activities may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to support website functions, understand visitor activity, measure advertising results, and deliver relevant advertisements.
Cookies are small files stored on your browser or device. Other technologies can record events such as a page visit, link click, or form submission.
Depending on the features enabled, analytics and advertising services may include Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta advertising tools. These services may receive information about your browser, device, website activity, and interactions with our campaigns. Advertising partners may associate that information with other information they hold, subject to their own policies and applicable permissions.
Where applicable law requires consent for nonessential tracking, that consent must be obtained before the relevant tracking takes place.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where available, website cookie-preference controls. Blocking cookies may affect certain website features. Some choices apply only to the browser or device where you make them.
Additional information and controls are available through:
- Google’s Privacy Policy
- Google My Ad Center
- Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on
- Meta’s Privacy Policy
Changing advertising preferences does not necessarily stop all advertisements. You may continue to see advertisements that are not personalized to you.
6. EMAIL MARKETING & FOLLOW-UP COMMUNICATIONS
We may use your email address to send follow-up communications, service information, promotional offers, business updates, and other MMG marketing content where permitted by law and consistent with your preferences.
You can stop promotional emails by using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by emailing danny@mederosmarketinggroup.com. We honor email marketing opt-out requests within the period required by applicable law, including within ten business days where the CAN-SPAM Act applies.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not prevent us from sending necessary, nonpromotional communications about an existing service relationship, such as invoices, appointment details, or important account notices.
We may retain a limited record of your opt-out request to help prevent future marketing communications that you have declined.
7. TEXT MESSAGES & TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS
We may contact you by telephone or text message about an inquiry, appointment, or service, consistent with the context in which you provided your number and applicable law.
If we offer promotional text messages or automated marketing calls, we obtain the consent required for those communications, including prior express written consent where required. Consent to receive promotional communications is not a condition of purchasing our services.
Submitting a general inquiry, booking a consultation, or reading this Privacy Policy does not, by itself, constitute consent to automated promotional texts or prerecorded marketing calls.
For text messaging programs, message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out by replying STOP where replies are supported, contacting us directly, or otherwise reasonably communicating that you want the messages to stop.
SMS consent applies to the communications described when you enroll. It does not authorize unrelated businesses to send you promotional messages.
8. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We disclose personal information when reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to the following categories of recipients:
Service providers. Businesses that support website hosting, scheduling, communications, contact management, payment processing, document storage, technical support, and other business operations may receive information necessary to provide their services.
Advertising and analytics partners. Platforms that help deliver advertisements, create audiences, measure conversions, and analyze website or campaign activity may receive the information described in Sections 4 and 5.
Professional advisers. Accountants, attorneys, insurers, and other advisers may receive information where needed to provide professional services.
Legal and security recipients. We may disclose information to comply with applicable legal obligations, respond to valid legal process, investigate misuse, protect rights or safety, or address suspected fraud.
Business transaction parties. Information may be disclosed during a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable confidentiality and privacy obligations.
Recipients you authorize. We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or give the required permission.
9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS & CHOICES
Depending on your location, the context in which information was collected, and whether a particular privacy law applies to our activities, you may have rights to:
- Request access to personal information about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing where covered by law.
- Withdraw consent for processing based on consent.
- Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.
To make a request, email danny@mederosmarketinggroup.com or use the Contact page on our website. Describe the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records.
For requests requiring identity verification, we may ask for limited additional information. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
We respond within applicable legal timeframes and explain any permitted extension, denial, or limitation. Where an appeal is available, you can request one through the same contact methods. You may also contact the appropriate privacy regulator or state attorney general.
Where applicable law requires recognition of browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, those signals will be treated as requests to opt out of the covered processing.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
10. INFORMATION RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Retention depends on factors such as the nature of our relationship, ongoing services, the relevance of a marketing inquiry, consent and communication preferences, recordkeeping requirements, potential disputes, and applicable legal obligations.
Marketing information may be retained while it remains relevant to a permitted marketing purpose, subject to your choices and applicable retention limits. Information retained after an opt-out for compliance or recordkeeping purposes is not permission to continue the marketing you declined.
When information is no longer needed, our retention approach is to delete it, deidentify it where appropriate, or retain only what is necessary for a lawful continuing purpose. Limited suppression records may be retained to honor opt-out requests.
11. INFORMATION SECURITY
We seek to protect personal information through reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved and the risks of processing it.
However, no website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please exercise care when sending information electronically and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in ordinary forms or emails.
If you believe information shared with MMG has been compromised, contact us promptly at danny@mederosmarketinggroup.com.
12. INFORMATION HANDLED ON BEHALF OF CLIENTS
In providing marketing services, MMG may process information on behalf of a client under that client’s instructions and our service agreements.
The client’s privacy policy generally governs the client’s collection and use of that information. This policy does not authorize MMG to repurpose a client’s customer or prospect information for MMG’s own advertising.
Requests concerning information submitted to one of our clients should normally be directed to that client. We assist with such requests where required by our role, agreements, and applicable law.
13. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our website and marketing services are intended for business owners, professionals, and adult decision-makers. They are not directed to children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to MMG, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
Children’s personal information is not authorized for use in advertising audiences under this policy.
14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Our website and communications may contain links, embedded content, or features provided by third parties. Those providers may process information under their own privacy policies.
MMG operates in the United States. Information may also be processed in other countries where our service providers operate. Applicable privacy protections and transfer requirements remain relevant when information is processed across borders.
A link to another service does not mean that its privacy practices are the same as ours. Review the relevant provider’s policy before submitting information directly to that provider.
15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date identifies the latest revision.
Where required, we provide additional notice or obtain consent before making a material change to how previously collected information is used.
An updated policy does not automatically override an earlier opt-out, withdraw an existing privacy protection, or provide consent for a new activity that requires your permission.
